The 16-year-old German player DullenMike is the youngest Champions Cup winner ever after taking home the trophy this weekend, defeating fellow German Niklas Raseck on the road to victory before beating Hasan Eker in the grand final.
After reigning world champion ‘Msdossary’ and rising star ‘F2Tekkz’ dominated the first four FUT Champions Cup events with two triumphs each, ‘DullenMike’ has now become the third player to win a tournament in this series.
As well as replacing ‘F2Tekkz’ as the youngest FUT Champions Cup winner, ‘DullenMike’ also became the first German to clinch a major international title in the Global Series. The 16-year-old was rewarded with a prize of USD 50,000 and 1,500 Global Series points on the road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019.
He defeated eSports heavyweights including 2017 world champion Spencer Ealing and ‘Ajax Dani’, one of this season’s most consistent players, on his way to the final, where he secured a sensational victory by beating compatriot ‘Hasoo’.
