For the second season of the F1 Esports Series, the Mercedes-AMG team Petronas Motorsport announces its participation in the Formula 1 virtual championship.

The new Mercedes-AMG team Petronas Esports will compete with eight other teams starting next season with a lineup of excellent drivers, captained by current champion Brendon Leigh, who will try to replicate the success achieved in the inaugural season. At his side is Harry Jacks, winner of numerous Esports titles. The other two members of the team are Patryk Krutyi, last season’s wild card with four victories in Poland, and Dani Bereznay, young Hungarian promise, selected by Mercedes during F1 Esports July Pro Series Draft.

The appointment with the second season of the F1 Esports Series is for next October, until the end of November. Two intense months, in which the Anglo-German team, a real “virtual” alter-ego of the current champion, will fight to take home an equally valid Esports Cup.

The training center will be in the same location in Brackley, UK: here, the young talents of videogames will find all the necessary equipment to train at the highest levels, including the Driver-In-Loop, a simulator with which pilots and Formula 1 testers provide engineers with feedback on changes to the car setup. Finally, there will be a Performance Center in which pilots will be followed by a team of doctors and nutritionists in order to optimize the psycho-physical conditions for the races.
