Based in the heart of Lyon, the Gaming Business School is one of the first of its kind in Europe. This school of video game business wants to support the growth of the esports sector and programmes are starting in October this year. The school’s objective is as much to make professional athletes emerge as to give good business training bases necessary for the students so that they can find a job in the gaming sector.

This new school should host 70 students in two courses: a Bachelor in 3 years in video games management and esport, and a Master in 2 years, intended for positions of responsibility. Create, animate a stream … Organize an event esport … Edit a media around gaming … These are the projects proposed by this school; a springboard to find an internship or a first job.

The whole pedagogy of the Gaming Business School is built around the realization of a real production. Students will be involved daily in projects for which they can work alone or in groups, being coached by a professional sector or a teacher throughout the project. Through this learning experience with high added value, each student will acquire knowledge and skills allowing him to be operational in business by the end of his training.

The campus will include an amphitheater, classrooms and a game arena. The premises are arranged through eight workspaces and living areas, including an arena (an area reserved for esports competitions and training in real conditions), immersion rooms for co-studying, a streaming studio, a gym and a VR-room.
