Honda is the first automobile company in North America, to ever sponsor both an esports team and a league. Earlier this year, the brand partnered with Team Liquid, the leading professional worldwide sports organization.
This partnership includes having Honda’s logo on team jerseys, miscellaneous merchandise, and when the team arrives to a competition, they arrive in a Honda Odyssey minivan.
Now, less than a year later, Honda has made a move to sponsor the League of Legends championship series (LCS). This marks an ambitious move for Honda, into the world of esports.
