IEM Headlines Melbourne Esports Open

Esteemed esports organization ESL, has announced that they will headline the Melbourne esports open with IEM (Intel Extreme Masters) Melbourne.

This is the fourth year that ESL brings IEM to Australia, but the first time it’s set in Melbourne. IEM Melbourne is a Counter-Strike competition, with a prize pool of 250,000 USD. In addition to this exciting tournament, there will be events such as signing sessions with professional players, and chances to win special prizes.

This tournament is part of the ESL Pro Tour CS:GO Circuit, which connects DreamHack and the CS:GO competitions. This circuit links more than 20 ESL and Dreamhack tournaments, across five major continents in the world. This year, it features a total prize pool of 5 million USD.

The Melbourne esports open takes place August 22-23rd at the Rod Laver Arena. More detailed info about the tournament will come at a later date.
