On Sunday, the FIFA eClub World Cup 2019 finals wrapped up in London with the best gamers on the planet battling it out. The KiNG eSports crew became the first eSports organization to capture the victory.
KiNG eSports won the third FIFA eClub World Cup in London on Sunday, with Nicolas “nicolas99FC” Villalba and Donovan “Tekkz” Hunt beating Dijon FCO to take home the USD 40,000 grand prize. Both nicolas99FC and Tekkz earned 1,500 Global Series points, which go toward qualifying for the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final later this year.
Dijon reached the final by beating Manchester City and FaZe Clan and took home USD 20,000 for second place. They were the only established club to reach the semifinals, with esports organizations claiming the other three spots: KiNG, FaZe and Futbolist, the first Turkish side to appear at the eClub World Cup.
