ESL and Nodwin Gaming have revealed that they’ve partnered up to bring a Dota 2 tournament series to India for the first time ever, with ESL One powered by Intel. Nodwin Gaming is an esports solutions company based in Gurgaon, India, that worked with ESL in the past to create the ESL India Premiership—an annual series of esports tournaments in the country, featuring Dota 2, CS:GO and Clash Royale.
The tournament will take place April 19-21 in Mumbai in the NSCI Dome, a multi-purpose arena with a seating capacity of around 8,000. The NSCI Dome will hold 12 of the best Dota 2 teams around the world in an event with a prize pool of USD 300,000.
There will also be other activities at ESL One Mumbai, like a cosplay competition and meet-and-greets. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, January 17, at 15:00 local time (09:30 GMT).
