It was announced earlier today that the acclaimed first-person shooter franchise Rainbow Six Siege is confirmed to the British University Esports Championships. This has been made possible by the partnership between National Student Esports and Ubisoft UK.

This championship is made up of seven different computer game tournaments that are played across a season, starting February 13th and ending April 18th. The university team with the most points wins the tournament.

As a bonus, it has also been announced that during the spring finals of the games, there will be a caster competition for students. This means entrants are given the opportunity to compete for the chance to cast the Rainbow Six Siege Finals. More information on this caster competition will come at a later date.
