Allsvenskan, the Swedish Elite Football Association, has partnered with global tournament organizer DreamHack to create a FIFA 19  league based on the top-level Allsvenskan soccer league. Twelve Allsvenskan teams will field FIFA 19 teams for the eAllsvenskan league.

The eAllsvenskan league is part of the EA Sports  FIFA 19 Global Series and will be an official qualifier for the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019. Play begins on March 2 and runs into May, with a total of 147 matches planned for the first season. Matches will be broadcast via Discovery Networks Sweden on the Kanal 9 TV channel, as well as the Dplay streaming platform.

The news follows October’s announcement of eSuperliga, a similar collaboration between DreamHack and the Danish Superliga. The English Premier League and Gfinity likewise announced plans for an ePremier League competition with all 20 Premier League teams. Like eAllsvenskan, those leagues are part of the FIFA 19 Global Series and will qualify players for the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019.
