PS5 Might Change The Gaming World

The PS5 (Playstation 5) is the next generation Playstation which is set to release later this year. Yesterday, at The Future of Gaming event, the PS5 was fully revealed by Sony.

It has a sleek white design alongside a new suite of games. What came as a positive surprise is that the PS5 will be without a disc drive, in an effort to make it all-digital. Sony have their eyes on a future without physical media. When it comes to other PS5 features, the next-gen console will have impressive technology such as ray-tracing, a built in 4k Blu-ray player, an Uber-fast SSD. It is rumored to also have voice assistant capabilities.

While the Xbox has dominated, being the home to major games such as Halo, and Gears of War, PS4 has been less stacked. This could all change now with the release of the PS5.

Release date will be specified later this year.
