Dreamhack has announced that they are partnering with Swedish telecommunications company Telia, for the Northern League of Legends Championships (NLC), which runs through 2021.

NLC is a brand new tournament by DreamHack, with a focus on northern countries such as Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, as well as the UK. The NLC began earlier this month with 12 teams taking part.

They are awarding 100 K USD to the winning team per split. The league play will feature two divisions with 6 teams each, which will compete with each other over the course of 7 weeks culminating into a playoff bracket.

The playoff bracket will be a studio event, at the Monster Energy Dreamhack Studios.
